I met Bob in 1982 when i joined the Procter and Gamble laboratory at Winton Hill Technical Center. Bob was instrumental in onboarding me in the lab and I can safely say that i owe those interactions to any success i had at P&G. Bob was a skilled analyst and a quick study. His humor was infectious and i recall many mornings hearing about the WEBN joke of the day ! (When jokes were still allowed at P&G). Bob taught me about scotch as best i could learn and he was a wonderful role model as a researcher. In our lives a few people make a huge difference and Bob was that for me. My heartfelt condolences to his family and other friends. I will miss him and wish that he rest in peace. God bless you Bob. Maybe some day in the future heaven you will get me to finally master the flouride biopsy method.
